i noticed that too....idd REALLY like to see some special on the imac/g4 imac (like double your ram for free (up to half a gig)) but i doubt there'll be any new emac/imac specials any time soon :(...and too bad the free epson printer deal (after rebate) is done with :(

I ahve a TiBook 500, it's VERY portable, and decently powerful (the new 800 beats the original powerMAC 800, so that should give you an idea of speed :) ) I recommend if/when you get one go to www.timbuk2.com and get the Wide-Screen laptop sleeve, it's awesome, and you can custom order it in any colour or anything. It's *just* for the laptop, so it's very thin and nice (as long as you don't plan to carry anything else/have another abg for other stuff) Also, go to otherworldcomputing.com and get their screen protector (or any other screen protector) it's definately worth the $15-$20 to save your screen. you can kill, maim, or severely maim your apple pro mouse, macbandit, and get this (http://www.maccessories.com/products/pro_mic_d1081.html)... all the style of mac, with a less insulting-to-your-intelligence button layout. it's really a lot of fun to use, and costs about the same as a pro mouse (says 65, i got mine for 60).

Okay, now this was the closest category I could find for this topic, but what I have to say must be said. My brother downloaded Kazza on my Dell Opitplex GX150 with Windows XP 256mb/20gig, the computer ran great until he did this. Now, I get major spyware, popups, spam, and a whole list of stuff, I can't even use it anymore it is slower then an LC III (really!), WTF are people downloading it for, you agree to have pop up's even when your computer is not on the internet and your browsers is quit, it seems like every 5 min large amounts of pop up's happen, and you can not use Kazza (A P2P network) with out allow it to happen, how do I get rid of all of that Kazza and junk it comes with?? I need help!

Will check out the g5 version tonite, and the g4 version later.
If it crashes a lot, it won't be any different from the 'normal' OS X version, so I won't mind-- I'll take the daily FF crashes (in OS X but not XP strangely) any day over sluggish camino and safari.

.... Anyone remember Firewire? ....Seeing as how virtually every HDTV settop box and digital camcorder ships with FireWire--both markets still in their infancy--I would say that quite a few people remember FireWire.

I still have the NES that I got when I was five years old. Up until recently, I actually used my old N64 - unfortunately it met an untimely death at the hands of small children...okay, not really small, just 13 and stupid :(
