Did they fix the pacing and ending in HD or is it still flawed?

It would be touch screen and have voice recognition. I personally have an ibook and have to lug around the 6 lb dead weight everywhere I go. I much rather have something like a ditial clipboard that weighs only 2lbs. I'm not looking to play unreal on it, just work. I think PDA's suck because of the limited OS's and memory. This device could sinc up to your computer and immediatly transfer information, have built in 802.11b and bluetooth(slow anyway). I still see no downside. What makes an ibook better? The fact it has a keyboard? There are many protoype tablets with built in keyboards on the reverse side that can flip around to simulate a laptop. I still see more positives than negatives. On November 7th Microsoft will release all their tablets into the market, I guess we will have to wait and see what type of response it will have. Believe me Apple has made worse mistakes than the iTablet. Don't even get me started on the eMate.:o

A more conservative high end would be 933 MHz, but I think that a gig is quite possible. I can't really think of anything else. Bluetooth is a possibility, but I only think when digital device comes out that can utilize it. I don't mean an iPhone or iWalk neccesairly, but maybe a bluetooth adapter to the iPod just for contacts and calender that way you don't have to plug it in. Maybe with a push for the bluetooth phone that ericson or phillips did or a push for bluetooth enabled printers.

Yep, this is awesome. It's the first version that I actually really like the contact list. With all the features that they'll be adding still till version 1.0 comes out it'll be one awesome client.
Btw, for those that didn't know... in version 0.8 they'll be adding the available messages support.
Unfortunately audio/video chat is still a good while away and when it arrives it's not known whether it'll reach the quality of ichat.
There's just something about it that doesn't make me like having two clients open...

Says RS/6000.
yeah, but so what?
afaik rs/6000 was a server line at ibm which was rebranded the pSeries some two years ago...but they did/do use ppc processors of various flavors.
what i see from this message is that this patch enables altivec support on the powerpc64 target of the linux64 build of gcc, so if you happen to have a 64-bit powerpc with altivec, try to compile it on your box.
anyway, this might be completly wrong, just trying to show my pov.

The numbers I've heard from actual research companies is ~5% and unlike Spymac's data they actually provide methods of double checking it and use methods a little more reliable than internet searches.
In the end it doesn't matter one bit. Companies don't look at installed base they look at what is selling now because that is what provides a view to the future.

IE hasn't been significantly upgraded in 2 years. That's YEARS. I don't know what that huge company has been working on all this time, but it's not to make new and cool stuff.
"Security." MS have said for years that they want to move to a subscription-based software licensing model. Janus and eventually hardware-based DRM are what they see as their future.

Dude, I can't wait! This is actually another title that's "exclusive" to the PS3! I enjoyed the original on the Xbox, and never got Black. So this'll be an awesome investment. Watch the clips in HD...A big WOW. Seriously. 1080p and 60 fps! :D
--EDIT--
The best part: It's coming out on June 26! Is it just me, or is there a really steady flow of great games coming out each month on the PS3?

Safari list shortcut: type part of the item (like a state name or whatever). Press Return to select it.
Yes, but that only works if you know what you're looking for. Unfortunately most often I use Safari at my work with some home-grown crap written for the web by people who clearly don't understand the web. They'll create a select bar with 200 names! WTH?

Not just his renderfarms, but his Workstations as well! Its really hard to model and animate with a computer that struggles to even display a simple character. PC's are WAY beyond Apple in this regard.
Im not talking about mHz or gHz--Im just talking about performance period. PC's get the job done for half the price.
Its sad--Im dying to get back into Apple and OSX, but theres really no reason to in my industry.

In Xcode you can go into prefs and then go Distributed Builds. Is this what you are looking for?

BetaNews.com reports:
iTunes 5 Here We Come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How does this guy do it over and over??
And now iTunes Music Store works on Linux through this app...
I think he just changed the identifying packet to say iTunes 4.7 instead of 4.6. Apple really only bandaged the code, I'm surprised he took this long to change the identification. I think to truly stop him from doing this, the DRM would have to be added serverside, which would be a *huge* overhead to Apple.
Plus DRM will always be overcome on a software level. It just isn't practical unless there is a hardware solution too (Trusted Computing, anyone?).

I still wow about my cube even though I sold it over a month ago. wow it was a cool computer.
My new ibook is great as well, and technically more useful than the cube, but it doesn't really have the wow that the cube had.

The ATI Radon 9700 certainly blows away the GForce 4 MX for both Mac and PC. For PC, it even blows away the GForce 4 Ti4600 in some tests. Overall, I would definitely buy the ATI 9700 over the GForce 4MX if you could afford its heafty pricetag.

I have a question for all of you World of Warcraft players.
When I play games, I don't like to have to interact with other players. I don't like to wait for games to start online. I don't like to be schooled by people who spend exponentially more time playing than I do. I like to play for whatever chunks of time I have and that's it. If I have 30 minutes to play, I want to spend it playing and enjoying myself. I don't want to spend 20 minutes waiting to get a group together.
With all this in mind, could I still play and enjoy World of Warcraft?
I don't think an MMO is for you.
