I agree with MyMemory that Jaguar is not:
1) As compatible
2) As friendly
3) As fast (I added this one)
... as Mac OS 9

Apple are going to be so far behind if they stick with motorola for much longer and don't get a chip like the IBM one soon.
The G4 is an ageing design, still doesn't have a DDR FSB, still can't get the Mhz up to complete with the Athlon (Pentium 4 doesn't count) and unless some miracle happens and motorola bring out an 8 way superscaler G5 with a DDR fsb, altivec and 64bit architecture. Apple are going to be a total laughing stock.
With the AMD hammer coming out in a matter of months, the pentium 4 pushing 3Ghz with a 533Mhz FSB, apple have got to pull something out of the hat next year or none of their Power (and it use the term loosely) Macs will be worth the cost of the components their made out of.
They're already on a "clutching at straws" lineup by going all dual, Do you think that dual 1.25Ghz model can compete with a 2Ghz Athlon ? I don't, not for a minute and that's just now, what about in 6 months time.
I think apple HAVE to have some new cpu from motorola under wraps, that new motherboard is practically wasted on a G4 and we need at least a 1.6 Ghz chip with twice the IPC of the current G4 design just for the next range to compete with PC cpus and be significantly faster than the current range of powermacs.
I'm sticking with apple whatever happens CPU wise but it would be nice if I could one day buy a �1,349 powermac that competes with a �1,000 PC.

For instance, my main when I played was a priest, and being holy specced for most of my run-up to 60 was probably a bad idea. That was not a fun character to solo with (though I GREATLY enjoyed end-game raid healing). I hear speccing shadow makes soloing much more tolerable.
Yes, a shadow-specced priest serves nicely to solo. When you get into instances, you can stay shadow-specced as a seconday healer or re-spec to holy.

I was tre president of my country and I could luch a full air strike (with the 8 f16 we have left) to Cuba and destroy comunism once for all. If I had enought mental power to couse enough brain damage to George Bush to put him in a coma for about ten years.

I've never had my nunchuck behave like this, i would call Nintendo and complain. Nintendo has pretty good customer service, and i can understand their non-outsourced support desk as an added bonus.
They replaced my DS Lite twice, once for a broken bezel, the next time for a stuck green pixel.

I did not see this on ifo Apple Store or Apple's website, but it was confirmed to me by Southlake Town Square's management office that Apple will be opening their Southlake Store this weekend along with the Grand Opening of "Grand Avenue."
For those of you who don't know, Southlake is just North of Dallas/Fort Worth by about 15 minutes, and would be a great place to spend the day as they have many great shops and restaurants.
I can't tell, but by the looks of the flyer (http://www.southlaketownsquare.com/grandopening.html) on the Grand Opening, it looks as if the Apple Store Southlake (http://www.ifoapplestore.com/stores/southlake_0329.html)might be giving away a $500 gift certificate. Anyone know anything about this??

Is it just me? Am I the only person in the world who just doesn't see the benefits of Firefox? Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy that everyone else is happy with it but so far I haven't seen a need to change over from Explorer in XP. I don't use Windows all that much so I admitedly don't have a huge wealth of experience but still...

It's weird, I think Quark5 is one of the long lost mysteries of the world. Either people are using Quark4.1, or Quark6 -- never 5.I don't think it was lost - it was thrown away. Quark 5 was the product that never should have been... Not really any better than 4, but still not OS X.

I live in Japan and would love to MOD my Wii. The game selection here is so limited and the games that do exist are nothing I would want to play. Since release, Zelda and Wii Sports are th only decent games...
When I was back in Canada during XMas I was amazed to see such a nice selection of Wii games, I'd love to be able to play some of them on my JP Wii.

I disagree with the comment put forth that the programmers are the ones that are breaking the law and the users aren't. Actually, it's the users who are.
Although, I'd asume the programmers also are users, so they too broke contract when they used it.
There might be something illegal about it's distribution, but I don't know enough about the law there.
