I would tend to agree with you jef. The only people I really know are Alphatech, King Cobra, and asurace/Durandal7. Now with large amounts of users hitting the much sought after '6502' status, I no longer feel the same sense of community that I did when I started posting (June/July of 2002).
Er, what's '6502' status?
Sorry to ask, but i guess i've only been here for a couple weeks.

X and Y are both matrices. If we had multiple instances of Spikey making insults and Joey J leaving, then perhaps we could talk about correlation. With only one instance of Joey J leaving, the math isn't going to support any significant findings, so no one ever talks about correlation with a sample size of one.
As for:
<<For every member that said he was, there is another that said he wasnt.>>
I seriously doubt that. That has about as much logical sense behind as "for every person who says the sky is blue, there is another who says that it's red."
Spikey was pretty obtuse, period. But it's not his fault, I don't suppose -- he probably just didn't have the background necessary to put together cogent argumentation, which resulted on his excessive swearing to back up "arguments" that wouldn't stand ipso facto.
NOOOO! Not matrices! Can't I just do some integration of multivariables instead?! Although that can require a Jacobian, which is derived from a matrix...Although I don't seem to mind it as much as, say, Linear Algebra. Blech!

Just a minute. You are saying that some guy working in retail sales is clueless and uninformmed. What do you expect? Comp USA pays like $7.00 per hour.
I remember being at Fry's (big california discount chain) someone asked a technical about a graphic card. The sales person took the box from the customer and attempeted to answer the question by reading aloud the back of the box as if he was helpig a customer who could not read. Of course he had no clue that what he was reading did not address the question. Fry starts new sales people at minimum wage.
I once asked a question at Fry's about the difference between two CRT monitors that for All I could see had identical specs and the same manufacturer. The salesman when to get his supervisior. The "expert" came out of the back room and said that one of the two hade "more megahertz inside" and he thinks the "co-processor is faster". I give credit the the saleman who admited "I don't know" then to his boss. (turned out one CRT had higher max vertical refresh)

And why not? When taken together the two 32-bit 900mhz FSB links would utilize a 64-bit 800mhz chip of RAM up to 100% depending on the mix of data reads and writes (wether it is 800mhz DDR, SDR, or QDR).
800mhz x 32bits x 2 == 800mhz x 64bits == 400mhz x 64bits x 2
etc, etc

So I have not seen my 360 on my network since Friday :(
That leads me to believe they either noticed the wireless adapter was connecting to a network and unplugged it or they got rid of the system. The investigator came back out today and said they need more evidence before they can get a warrant and he doesn't want to knock on the doors of the two houses I think it could be in case they do still have it and decide to ditch it when the cops are on to them.
So basically, I don't have much hope any more of getting my system back. I am thinking of calling the cops and having them just knock on the door and see what happens. Maybe the people are stupid and have the system sitting in plain view and the cops will notice it when they try to question the neighbors.
I'm going to check out my local EBGames again and see if they have anyone that traded in any of my games or even the system.

Right away, I thought of that one Simpsons episode where Bill Gates says "Buy him out boys" to Homer when he was running a business called "HyperGlobalMegasomethingrather..'.
Ehh... simpsons...
NOW FAMILY GUY!
*flying in jet packs over land*
Michael Eisner: "They look like ants down there."
Bill Gates:"They are ants Michael! They are ants...."

Why not do this;
"iPic" specs;
iPod case, 5 gig hd, FW connection via a "pop" out male FW connector, 4 megapixels, large lcd viewer, lcd view finder, bounce flash, ASA 100 to 400, 28mm to 80mm zoom and Lithium batteries.
Same specs as above, but with a "iBook" type of case.
Add Bluetooth (I know it is slower, but hey no connections). The FW would pop out and you could "dock" the camera with the laptop. Note for towers and iMac's there would be a patch cable.
The case would match the two laptops Apple puts out now, plus this would double as a portable drive for the laptops.
Cost 350$ to 450$
Anyways, it makes sense for Apple to have a consumer level camera, to complete the digital hub. Also make them for pc's right away and rake in the money :]
My Opinion anyways, thanks!

Id say it depends on what kind of stereos they will introduce, if it's a shelf system then maybe around $400-650, for components even more, but I doubt it will go for $2000.

But for people that want all the power you can get, they are willing to make the sacrifice.
The 2.8 Ghz P4 is a new CPU. Intel released it Tuesday.

Ok, I did not know that. However, I still stick to my point about it not being 4X faster.

You know how TV tuners require a license? What if I was simply watching previous episodes of the Apprentice on the BBC website? Woudl that require a TV license?
