I just want an HDMI cable for my 360. After hearing Nine Inch Nails "Beside You in Time" HD-DVD in TrueHD audio... wow. The difference in sound was amazing.

I'm not quite sure I would go that far. I would be more opted to say this article places more validity on the rumors pending, but not a right-out conformation.

you can only defrag and make password protected volumes on mac formatted ipods.. i have mine windows formatted so that i can use it for file transfers... oh well, send to trash...

I don't like that, either. Also, even more annoying for me, is ESPN.com, which plays video automatically, as well. I discovered today that I could Adblock the ESPN Motion thingy. I wonder if that would work for the Apple.com homepage, without screwing up future front pages...

Yes, if my Xbox was stolen, I'd definitely want it back -- probably enough so that I wouldn't care what MS did on my behalf. But as it didn't happen to me, I can be more rational about this.
I don't think MS should give out this information to end customers. It would create way too many loopholes and all XBox Live user's privacy would potentially be compromised. Now if cops were to call MS and say "We're investigating a stolen XBox," that id tracking system you described comes in very handy.

You're all far too willing to accept the RIAA's iron grip over downloading music. Apple's DRM is disgusting - but you want to say "shut it down! or our prices will go up! or they'll make the DRM worse!" Well, you've got to do better than that - because they owe it to us to sell a better product.Bullpucky. The RIAA, and recording artists, and Apple, and any other corporate entity, owe you exactly nothing. If you don't like what they're offering, don't buy it -- it's that simple. If enough people don't buy it, then the companies will change -- that's capitalism in action.

Just as an FYI as of this morning we are at 6,073,979 downloads not two as the article states. Someone said that the betas were buggy. I don't know what you were running but I've been using FireFox since .6 and have only crashed a couple of times in .6. One or two in .7 and zero times in .8 or .9. Its been a flawless experience this from a diehard IE user since day one. I've gone back to Mozilla time and again. Just to dang slow. FireFox is more then a breath of fresh air. It pulls a Roadrunner vs. Wile E. Coyote by kicking dirt in the face of IE as it takes off. AFAIC its the best browser on the market. I actually wish more Mac users would use it. If even more FireFox browser registered on people's web sites when they go to check their logs they would take FireFox more seriously. *shrugs* Something to think about guys.

When did this become the PMS forum? People, relax. It is just a light hearted reply in a light hearted thread. No need for a tampon slinging contest.
I was merely pointing out historical fact, there is a correlation. Whether or not this correlation is down to coincidence, nobody knows.
It is very easy to throw insults at another member that was banned, as you wont be getting a reply. I was simply retorting and offering an unbiased reply that was based on factual info.
Eyelikeart, its not like you to be spiteful, tut tut tut. Remember, this is virtual. Its not like judgement day is coming (though if it was, im sure macrumors would carry on regardless)
