Correct me if I'm wrong...but, did any of you notice on that site that they gave an A+ rating to the Celeron machine and D & C's to the top 8 in the list? If you click on the colored bar for each system then scroll down the page there is a chart to explain the rating. It's a joke. I wouldn't depend on this site at all.

Yup, I was interviewed a few weeks ago.
Haha I guess that answers my question. Well, congrats on being featured on CNN, albeit the circumstances..:(

Woohoo! I'm a University of Chicago alum, so feel free to contact me (either via PM or in this thread) if you have any questions about it. Going to Chicago was possibly the best experience of my life. Good luck as you decide where you'll be headed for the best four years of yours!

...there are a few imperfections around the bevel that no self-respecting MR member would put up with.
If they were being thrown in the skip after their days in the window, I think I could stomach a few imperfections. Expect them to probably end up on eBay as 'exclusive Chanel iMacs'.

$500 plus $60 per game is a lot just to play a video game
I bought an NES for about $35 and can get games for a few bucks each!
not sure what you are going on about here....
and again...

Well obviously I'm thinking future revision here :) Would be a bit hard to implement it in the current design, probably.
It would be a "nice to have" option. Not everyone would need or want one, but I wouldn't mind having one. Monitor, power, keyboard (with mouse attached), speakers, line-in, USB card readers, Firewire drives etc etc... They start adding up and it would be NICE to avoid handling all the plugs twice a day.
I guess we'll see (january? hoping for too much? :D)
out of interest - have ANY of Apple's previous notebook computers ever featured a docking station?

A MacBook can run Windows completely natively. The only thing you'll have to teach your mom will be to hold "option" after she presses the power button.

Also the 28 March build at the moment is the best to get, the newer ones have a couple of bugs.

I am still here.
Just slowed down due to the fact that I sold my G5 (Major contributor) and the complete lack of Intel support for the most part. Plus I have moved 90% portable with the use of a MacBook as my primary OS X computer now. The fan running constantly is not something I am interested in :( .
I need to get some more systems at work folding again!

After being told for so long how superior x-box live is, I'm rather shocked!
You mean delighted ;) I'm sure :p
I'm sure they will patch / fix the vunerability quickly - if they havent already done so.
I wish someone will steal my account and add some more achivement points out of pity for my score.... :D

Apparently the store appeared briefly then went offline again.
Ah right, well, if those prices are correct...that's great news!

I'm sure he'll love that...
Wow...if any Sony, MS or Nintendo bought them, they'd have a system seller.
GTA 4 only on the Wii...that would be the day:D

Didn't you hear? CherryOS is all a hoax.

That was long and I confess to have skimmed it. The point seems to be that "dag33k" is suspected of being with Cherry. He probably is.
But I don't see dag33k claiming NOT to be with Cherry. He's looking for help testing--that makes sense.
What's the short version of what all that means? :D
