Arn,
Old fake... I've seen that exact image before Spymac maybe???
I even remember the thread where people were talking about it. Either way the hoaxer fessed up and someone made a comment about 'nice touch adding the numbers on that white tape'... Well something like that was said... (this was early/mid summer I think)

Not the same thing. If you replace Napster with iTunes, there is no 14-day free download-fest. Sure, you can burn 252 CDs from iTunes this way. But it'll cost you a lot more than nothing to get them.
Unless, of course, you're happy with half a minute of each song.
from what i understand though, this requires the use of a win-amp plugin that takes the audio stream and directly converts it to wav format. that wouldn't work on a mac... or a pc for that matter, because winamp can't play AAC protected files. now if there was an itunes plugin that did the same, that would be something else. but again, as stated, you can't get songs for free from the iTMS, and once you have them, you can burn them anyway. so comparing the two is really a moot point...

Amazing...you found your own site. How did you ever manage to stumble upon it?
And you steal MacRumors' articles. Have you no shame?

in a few minutes, less than twenty to be exact, i will celebrate my 4th year here
and i am 40 years old
oh my god, i have been a member here for one tenth of my life!!
but then again, there could be a user here who has three years in here and is only 12 years old (younger kids need parental permission i think) and that would be a quarter of their life

Nope. Far from it. Our London (Flagship) store has 25,000 for Launch Day. Gonna be easy to get a hold of I would say.

I like how it's completely free. No restrictions. See, this is how you do things. I realize it's a little different for Music and Movies, but if you want to create a standard, it should be earned by being good and being easily adopted. And I hope this is widely adopted. Adobe has really earned repsect for this one.
But yeah, it probably has a lot to do with the jpeg thing.

Well, the printer had a mail-in rebate to make it free too, so I had to wait a few weeks for that check. I was actually surprised it came, since I had long since returned the iMac and was waiting to get the Mini. But Apple never asked for the printer, nor did it not send the refund. So the printer was free without the iMac.
Why is why I didn't get the second printer when asked. Because I felt bad about it. Which is why I started this thread. Okeedokee everybody? Clear enough?
i would think the printer company (i'm guessing its a epson) would see the lost and not apple.
I'm more amazed that you were able to return the computer since most rebates require cutting out the UPC off the product, and most stores will not take back a product without the UPC.

Jimmi boy....
Common = conforming to the usual standard. 360 crashing problems aren't common, Wii nunchuck problems aren't common. Hell - PSP dead pixels aren't common. Windows viruses are common :D
Zane - try Wii Sports boxing. Chances are as soon as the nunchuck is disconnected it will pause the game, and due to the nature of the game you'll be able to see if it's a faulty port or just COD3?

It's a blue speech bubble. I'm all for protecting work and chastisting others for stealing content when this is what's happened, but this is a blue speech bubble, nothing more.
Please, don't waste either yours or Apple's time. Don't bother reporting it.
But then again... what if some car company designed a blue oval with white curly letters in it spelling their brand's name ("Vroom" for example). Would that just be a blue oval? Nothing more?
This design is clearly ripped off from Apple.

I saw this posted earlier (can't find it easily now).
However, I'd trade the ability to own an iPod and use Google while young for a billionaire father any day. Seems like, sooner or later (sooner, given Ballmer's rotundness), you'd be able to buy all the iPods you wanted.

For the past month or so, my Folding Garden (not big enough to be a patch, much less a farm:p ) consists of:
iMac G4 800
PowerBook G4 1.33
iMac G4 700
3.6GHz Xeon
Dual 2.4GHz Xeon (only using one processor, though)
3.2GHz P4
When we add the hardware for our digital printing department, I may have the opportunity to add Folding into several more boxes.;)

At least it's not MS making a standard, that always gets me jumpy when they do that. I think that this is a great idea, and if it works with my PowerShot S45, I might start shooting RAW format. Digital Negative Standard... good thing they aren't calling it DNS! :D

it's a pretty good game, I might pick it up for PS3 (I sold my 360 copy ages ago to a buddy), with the increased graphical goodies (ie. draw distance) and apparently reduced load times, it should be pretty gravy. Just, only thing about it....the damn stupid leveling system. it's bound to annoy.

anyone had this before. It does not do it again. I got a screen shot of it. I will post it later.

Sweet let us know what it's like. :)
 4.6gb loaded to the HDD. No wonder it's meant to have better load times.

I thought that the use of the wheel menu was good. It's been around about as long as the GUI itself but has never seen the light of day in the real world.
I thought that the desktop was a good start but it's just that--a desktop. The other 95 % of the user interface needs to be planned.
It's clever to be sure.
