Apple confirmed shipment to ClubMac this morning. 150 G4 1.25 boxes are in route. Should arrive early next week. 100 of the 150 are sold, including mine.

Well, they did steal over $1000 worth of stuff. Thats a big deal in my book when I only make $10,000 a year and that I'm in college. I know what you are saying but its still crappy for someone to even steal $100 worth of stuff from you.
It's crappy that someone would steal anything from you. The feeling of having something taken from you is an unmeasurable price in itself.
Back in our old house we had a bike stolen, my grandfather (who was about 70 at the time) fought off some Spanish muggers whilst on holiday too. That really shook him up and nothing was taken from him!

I was tre president of my country and I could luch a full air strike (with the 8 f16 we have left) to Cuba and destroy comunism once for all. If I had enought mental power to couse enough brain damage to George Bush to put him in a coma for about ten years.
That would be enough to warantee 10 more years of existance to this planet.

No. I doubt creative will get anything out of this.
At worst, Apple will modify the iPod interface. But not halt 'Pod sales.

That's why you have that search button right next to the home button in the upper right of your screen while browsing this forums.

But can a user be considered to be a party to that agreement if they have not used iTunes to access the store - does the purchasing process still involve an agreement approval stage using this software? Presumably not.
Why don't you try it and find out? :)

I would hope so!! ;)
There have been reports of GPU's burning up from the heat while on standby.
This YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdWnsw3Yckc) is exactly what happened to my Wii. Now I have to send my Wii in to be serviced. Three weeks without my Wii, how will I pass the time?!
For the record, the innuendos were intentional.

Apple really screwed him on this... no question about it... :(
I totally agree. It's great they're using the idea but they did this with the command+tab thing to some other guy in 10.3(?) - they could have at least given him some money or a job or something...? If it's a better product that's because they're better programmers but they can't just go round ripping people off like that - i doubt he had any kind of patent on it, but it's really bad practice...

I don't own the computer, BUT I am the computer tech... so I gave myself permission :D
I also do have a copy running at the local Toyota dealership which they don't know about... its my revenge of sorts. I had to get my coolant flushed and took it to a local place. They opened up my radiator and said "We don't have that color of coolant. You have to take it to the dealership." So the next week I took it there and WAITED for 3 HOURS!... how long does it take to flush the radiator?! I had an appointment! I have a busy life! So after about 2hrs I installed folding on their waiting room PC. Those hemopheliac monkies! Oh well, I don't feel bad. They deserve it! Probably weren't using it anyway... and its still running

a good choice if you want speedy Terminal client speed but want information and easy use is to download the app InCrease, http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/16999 it does a very good job and allows more control through a GUI

ideally I'd rather be offered a 3.5" HDD option
Ideally they'd just allow any USB2 HDD to be plugged in and allow you to save downloadable content to it - should you need to.

but that was not an apple solution, that was 3rd party. this rumor makes me think the external (let hope internal) would be an apple branded product.

oh yeah -- and because i've got a lombard pre-firewire powerbook, i can't use my DVD player in osx. unsupported. the jaguar install didn't even give me the DVD player app.
