| Posted: 04 Jan 2011 06:27 AM PST Now, you might think that the humble toaster is little more than a handy kitchen gadget for making a carb-filled snack, but it seems they're becoming all the craze. It's all down to The Toaster Crew and a new forthcoming movie entitled 'Everywhere'. Take a look at this teaser… I can't say I know any more than the next guy although I did find this little mention by Silky at the Banksy Forum: [I] have seen their bluff buff around Islington, quite a clever idea really as i thought they were unfinished stencils but have a longer lifespan than most of the local junkies. (Examples at Flickr). [Buff] shared a few pints and [Silky] obtained an original for less than most of the POW prints go for. Well chuffed, he used to write and layered loads and loads of tags to produce this: "Everywhere". The whole toaster thing has been going on for ages so would be nice to see the film and pull it all together. Check this early example from - Toasters by The Toaster Crew New North Road, N1 which was featured in London's top 10 hidden art treasures By Ben Lewis, Evening Standard 13.08.09.
