Well you can't really ban anyone forever...
The most you can do is block the IP(s) that person uses and/or deactivate that person's account.
No matter...we need to build back up an old school army!

So did I. Oh well.
Navicat looks alright, though. I've been using CocoaMySQL and, of course, phpMyAdmin all this time.

Now if only Apple would actually put it, or a light version, in the desktops... Wishful thinking probably though.

It's accompanied by a picture which I'll link to below. The only reason it's interesting is that the diagram clearly shows 2 trackpad buttons. The patent also talks in great detail about cooling which could be an indicator of a faster processor.
If you're very bored (like me) you'll scan throu some of the other patents and there are clear some for spring loaded folders and what I reckon to be iSync.
It would seem unlikely that all the cooling relates to the current PowerBook as I believe that this would require a case redesign (shame, I like the look of the Ti-Book, mines awesome).
Anyway, that's just a little something for people to chew over.

i couldn't see picture, but a new apple powerbook and a new apple consumer laptop are guaranteed, it is just a matter of when...next year? two years? five years?
high end laptops are easy to call powerbook, but what would apple call its next major/radically different consumer laptop?
i still vote for the name "ibook"...even if the next major ibook machine has dual g4s and a superdrive and goes faster than 1.2 ghz and sports a titanium shell
...at that point, powerbook will have a g5
i would never want to see any future apple laptop be called the 800 series or an AP/Ltp-1A model :p

Eh, me thinks it may be a while. I think that if they intro a Macbook mini, they would need to come pretty close to Mac mini/Macbook specs. But hey, Macbook should then go with the iMac, because the Macbook would be a step up from Macbook mini, but then we are getting into Macbook Pro territory. Therefore, Apple needs a brand realignment if they want to have product lines flow a bit better. This way, we have a product matrix similar to the one completed in 1999 with the iBook, except for with the Mini line thrown in.
But Apple will do it anyway. Just because I think it should be done this way.

No that does not mean its doing the same thing over and over. There are many parts to 1 protein. As i recall those are worth a lot.

Get that fast and the furious crap out of here. That portrayed it's "subjects" worse than I could have ever imagined. Except for the blue 4th gen Maxima's burnout, everything in that movie was horrible.
Your example of 'those' cars (referring to 4 bangers) versus muscle cars is horrible. Muscle cars suck against todays cars. Straight 1/4 mile is the only place they have a CHANCE. Aftermarket mods and current technology allow cars with engines that have fractional amounts of a muscle cars displacement to eat them alive. But all thats off subject. Sorry

These have been around for a while. I don't quite understand how it's a rip of the G4 Cube, other than in it's shape, and last I checked, a cube was a basic geometrical shape owned by no one. Computers get smaller and smaller, and as far as i'm concerned, this is just a product that is designed to be small. Yes, it could be better well designed to look nicer, but i still don't see how a small PC is invading Apple's turf, especially since the G4 cube isn't sold anymore. I'm quite happy with my Dual Ghz Quicksilver at work, and will be even more happy when I get my 17" iMac for Christmas, but let the PC users build what they want. If they want a small form factor PC that can double as an entertainment center (which, btw, is one of the large uses for this), then by all means, let them have it.

I use both Safari and Firefox -- it really depends on what I'm doing. I've had Safari crash a LOT (probably the most crashed program next to Word and Mail.app), so whenever I think a website is too much for it or if Safari won't let me submit forms of some kind, I start up Firefox. I should really switch, but Safari is just soo pretty.

i hear what you say from a technical standpoint
even if we get this processor and it benchmarks really well, the average consumer will only be able to understand very little
i think, sales wise, it is important that we reach the 2 ghz mark, whatever the architecture the processor employs
i spent some time as a computer salesman and i have seen the concerns of the consumer
but i am also a techie so i understand the hidden issues the average consumer does not pay attention to like ddr, cache, system bus, etc.
by and large the computer shopper will look at the simple things like "gigahertz"

I own, and like, both of these games. Once you get past the obvious observation that they are both off-road arcade racers, there's not much more validity to a head-to-head comparison than there is to comparing Ridge Racer and NFS:Carbon, both of which feature really shiny cars racing on roads.

It was only right. It's a shame that he joined the team and brought such shame to us.
Here I disagree. This guy had access to a lot of computers and therefore wrote a little app to install folding on all of his hundreds of machines located all over the USA. That this app somehow became a virus is a different story. I, for one, am still proud of this guy, his intentions where/are good. When he noticed that something went wrong he contacted Stanford about it. I only hope that he still folds with us!

As of today October 10, 2002 until December 31st, Apple is offering to double the base RAM for only $40 extra on all new Macs.
So you can get a single 512 stick with the dual 867 or dual 1 GHz MDD PowerMacs or 2 - 512 sticks with the dual 1.25 GHz for only $40 extra.
Note that asterisks (there are more at offer site)--these suggest that you can't get an extra gig in a PM even if you order it with a gig and that Apple might use up 2 slots or more to add 512.
* Base RAM is based on the computer purchased and can be either 128MB, 256MB, or 512MB. Maximum Double RAM available through this offer is 512MB. RAM upgrades over 512MB -above base configuration- include the promotional savings.
* Maximum double RAM available is 512MB for $40.
* Additional RAM may be installed as either a single larger capacity replacement RAM DIMM chip or by adding additional RAM DIMM chip(s) as required, exact method to be determined at Apple's discretion.
