Posted: 05 May 2011 03:48 AM PDT Al Farrow is a San Francisco artist who builds miniature reliquaries such as churches, synagogues, and mosques from spent ammunition and firearms. Physically & philosophically a weighty beast to handle, I love the juxtaposition of these pieces, although to be honest it's more of a pairing, religion and war have been two peas in a pod for thousands of years. Superb detail on these too, for more shots visit the Catharine Clark Gallery where he has exhibited or Meighan O'Toole's Flickr set here. |
Some Decent Public Toilet Graffiti Posted: 04 May 2011 05:54 PM PDT Usually all you'll find on the walls of a gents are a range of expletives, badly drawn porn, and a few exaggerated boasts ranging from how big to how many in a night. Still, someone out there has been busy with this public toilet graffiti masterpiece. See more toilet graffiti at Weird Corner. |
