For any of these cloud-based services, what is the streaming bit-rate/SQ? What if you don't have a signal?
I have concerns about the agreement with Amazon, as other posters have wisely pointed out....I'm sure Apple's will be similar, if not better....time will tell...

Steve does not have to announce any new products to say they are going to shift to Core 2 across the board ASAP. :)
That's very true but my response wasn't to that statement but to this one:

I assumed that WWDC is going to be great because of MPB Merom which I don't think will be announced. :p

No, he's saying Apple does not track your location. There has been no evidence that any of the location information leaves your phone/computer. Whether that file should exist or not is another debate.

MacRumors is keeping up with this obvious error. I doubt Lion will be ready even by the WWDC. A summer release is what I predict.

If they weren't making money they would be sold off or shut down. They are high end cars sold to the rich. But let me guess you are stupid to buy an over priced Apple or iProduct right? Just like anyone that buys a BMW, Ferrari or Porsche is dumb. What is dumb is thinking one product is better than another. What is better, the iPhone, Android or a Star Tec? I guess if the only thing I want to do is make phone calls my old Star Tec is the best if it still works. My point is it depends on what your needs are.

Up until about a year or so ago, Cingular used to have the worst network. And the Verizon network was mint. Great signal everywhere on earth and never lost a call. Now I have to try every call 4 times before it goes through. I'd rather see Apple buy up another carrier and own them. How much does a small cellular carrier cost to buy? :-)

And those design changes still have to be made in the future if you want to run kentsfield. Since those changes are inevitable, why not make them sooner and take advantage of cheaper chips earlier?

The current iMac's can't even run games at 2560x1440 very well, so an even higher resolution? Unless they want to stick a desktop Radeon 6950 (at least) in there, it just wouldn't work. Surely Apple sees how important gaming is with iOS and Steam?

Intel makes some great processors. It would be a bad idea to move to ARM. Sure keep ARM in the mobile world like the iPad and iphones but don't bring them to laptops and desktops. Can't wait to see how Intels ivy bridge is next year.

I'm starting to wonder if a Iphone 5 is even going to come out this year i mean with the Verizon IPhone launched in February "kinda close to June - July IMO" so they might wait tell june of next year where we get AT&T and a Verizon IPhone upgrades.

They did this with both the iPhone and iPad in particular. Apple's desire to make "revolutionary" products simply stems from a desire to make "revolutionary" products. They don't seem to be affected too much by outside influences. RIM doesn't come out with the storm and Apple rush an iPhone to compete. Apple stays on a consistent product cycle, releases products with features that leave other companies boggled and doesn't look back. I honestly think even if these other companies gave up trying to compete, Apple would still make great products because its in their DNA to do so.

I'd pay a premium for products manufactured in the US.
Products might be more expensive, but there would be more Americans employed. As much are there is a downside to producing here, there is also an upside.

Had the same thought... Get a hot key into the firmware to connect to the official App Store with network settings flexible (eg IP setting; Router etc). Then all the setup can be done from the net.
For power user and enterprises I could imagine to be able to support an own App Store within your network to avoid re-downloading. Similar to the enterprise AppStore for iOS.

Hmm. I suppose this increases the likelihood of the next iPhone being the "iPhone 4G" after all.
That said, my 3GS contract is up in June. If Apple waits until October to release the next iPhone, and it's not LTE, then I will be jumping ship. Never thought I'd say that, but I'm not holding onto a 3G-only phone until almost 2013.
