Indoor Street Art by Paul Baines |
| Posted: 15 Nov 2010 07:05 AM PST Ben Heine has a real eye for line, as long as one end of it is firmly affixed to the other. Hovering precariously between the Pop Art and Pointillist schools of thought are what could be best described as the Op Art (ish) digital paintings of Ben Heine. Born in the Ivory Coast and currently based in Brussels, Ben is the proud owner of a journalism degree (of all things) but at least he has a real knack for illustration and graphic design. He has 8 years of professional experience as a graphic designer and can speak fluent French, English, Dutch and a little Polish, Spanish and Russian. So far he's really made a name for himself with his Pencil Vs Camera series. which have been a big hit with everyone, even the British Tabloid press. Now for something completely different, Digital Circlism:
The subject matter could be a little more dicey but the technique is on the button. Lovely stuff… http://www.benheine.com |
