Great Price Uncle Milton 12535 for $114.87

Star Theater Pro by Uncle Milton Review

we got this product to help our 2 year old stay in his own bedroom and help him fall asleep. before, he wanted to leave the lights on in the hallway, even though we have night lights everywhere. he would still walk out of his room before eventually falling asleep. now, he actually insists on turning off the lights and is very excited every evening to watch his stars. we especially enjoy the sun, earth, and moon disk. we put it on the one hour timer and leave the room. our son hardly ever walks out his room and falls asleep fast.

Disappointing - Oliver White -
As other reviewers have stated, this is an OK product, however, it is NOT worth 130+ dollars. I returned it almost as soon as I received it. The 'discs' do not have an image of the night sky, it just looks like a bunch of dots. Anyone could achieve this effect using a flashlight, a black piece of construction paper and a needle. I would have guessed with the high price tag and being having "PRO" at the end of the name that it would be a little more than this and that it would actually appear as though the night sky were on your ceiling. NOPE. Added to this, there are only 2 'discs' included and an OFFER to buy 2 more in the package for a whopping 25 bucks. Apparently though, they are not making the discs anymore, so it's not like they're standing behind this product. With a price tag like this, they should have already been in the box, along with many many others. If there were about 10 more discs included I would have almost kept it to give as a gift to my nephew. I don't understand how they can keep selling this product for so much.

Cool item to view - Keith E. Hooper -
I brought this for my wife and she loves it. It can be battery operated or you can use the power cord. It's simple to use and enjoyable when you want a starry night but can't stand the creatures of the night.

It is OK - DonnaSW - Seattle, WA USA
We have "the original" one of these that came out of Japan (priced 0? or so in 2006) but needed a 2nd when our kids moved into their own rooms. I was hoping that this new devices was better than the "original" one I bought 4 years ago, but it was lacking many of the features of the "original" one. In example, if you tilt this device down slightly, the holder then gets in the way of the on/off button which is a pain. The missing "meteor" feature is also fun for young children.

BTW - Could some smart maker develop one of these with a lense that corrects for the distortion when the ceiling projection has to be done at an angle? Modern Projectors do this - it can't be too hard to do.
